We’re looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader who is confident leading shifts, supporting staff, and building positive, trusting relationships with children. This is a hands-on role where your experience is valued, your voice is heard, and your commitment is recognised.
The Role
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home
- Create a safe, warm, and structured environment for young people
- Build strong, trusting relationships with each child
- Support care planning, key work, risk assessments, and placement plans
- Supervise staff and promote high standards of care and safeguarding
- Support education, activities, and independence skills

What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 for children and young people in residential settings (Required)
- Experience in a children’s residential setting (Minimum 2 years essential)
- Senior / Team Leader experience (Desired)
- Full UK driving license (Desired)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations
- Flexibility for sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays (Required)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Work authorisation: United Kingdom (Required)
