About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary field-based medical professional interested in shaping the management of people with Type 1 diabetes. MSLs are the extension of the medical function in the field. They build and develop enduring ‘win-win\' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights.
MSLs provide field or hybrid medical support that is aligned and integrated with the overall medical strategy. Reporting to the T1D MSL Team Lead, this role is strategically positioned to realise the ambition for Type 1 Diabetes and contribute to the overall future success of Sanofi.

Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Engagement and Exchange (50%)
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, payers, and institutions
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic, impactful field medical engagement plans
- Communicate accurate, fair, and balanced information about T1D disease, products, and therapies compliantly
- Lead the collation, analysis, and evaluation of field insights
- Generate and share actionable insights through appropriate tools
- Support the medical team with data analysis and evaluation
About You
- Stakeholder strategy and planning
- Stakeholder engagement across healthcare systems and environments
- Experience in Immunology or Type 1 Diabetes field-based Medical activities (preferred)
- Experience in academia or research (highly desirable)

- Deep understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making and healthcare systems related to T1D
- Advanced understanding of clinical/medical science in Type 1 Diabetes or Immunology

- Ability to interpret scientific data and meet educational and research needs
- Capability to craft compelling scientific value narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Expertise in evaluating trends and treatment developments in the medical field
- Training and education development experience
- Understanding of Health Economics and outcomes to support market access strategies
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, evolving medical landscapes, regulatory frameworks, and payer environments
- Excellent digital and analytical skills, including data-driven insight generation
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt within complex regulatory environments in the field and remotely
- Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD preferred)
