The NHS Engagement Manager (NEM) is a hybrid customer-facing role within Sanofi’s General Medicines UKIE team. The NEM is responsible for improving access to the General Medicines portfolio and working collaboratively with the NHS to address system and pathway challenges. This role is central to building sustainable, long-term partnerships with NHS stakeholders and delivering strategic business plans aligned to Sanofi\’s ambition in the UK healthcare environment.

Main responsibilities:
- Build and sustain relationships with key NHS stakeholders and influencers at the population level in the local and regional health economy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving UK healthcare system, including national policies and local implementation strategies.
- Lead commercial discussions and programmes including rebates, pricing schemes, and procurement processes in alignment with Sanofi SOPs.
- Develop and execute collaborative working initiatives with NHS organisations following Sanofi\’s internal procedures.
- Deliver non-promotional strategic activities such as account mapping and advanced notification planning.
- Take ownership of prioritised accounts by aligning local customer needs with strategic brand and business plans.
- Gather and share insights into local health system goals to inform internal planning and contribute to brand optimisation.
About you
Experience : Demonstrated ability to build influential relationships within NHS or health system settings; prior experience in commercial or access-related pharmaceutical roles; Proven understanding of Primary Care commissioning, healthcare system policies, and Area Prescribing Committees; Demonstrated ability to navigate matrix environments and influence cross-functional teams.
Soft and technical skills : Strong project management skills; ability to lead strategic planning and customer mapping; excellent understanding of commercial schemes and system-level commissioning.
Education : Educated to an appropriate level or equivalent; ABPI Medical Representative certification required.
Languages : Fluent English.
