Engineering solutions are key to the design, operation and management of biopharmaceutical production facilities and processes. Our Engineering Graduate Programme consists of three rotations, each one in a different area: Process Engineering, Validation and Projects.
As well as working side by side with experienced team members and participating in projects and day to day team activities, you will also receive training designed to help you develop soft skills in a range of areas such as: presentation and communication skills, emotional intelligence, influencing and leadership skills. We support a variety of corporate and social responsibility activities and all Graduates participate in the Junior Achievement programme with local schools during the programme.
The programme starts on 1st September 2026 and last 2 years.
Main responsibilities:
During the Process Engineering rotation, you will learn how engineering principles are applied to the production of biopharmaceuticals, develop your understanding of the fundamentals of process control, learn how to ensure appropriate standards are met as well as develop and implement improvement initiatives in manufacturing and development operations. The main area of work is to own and deliver projects works under the bracket of continuous improvement in the existing thawing, formulation, filling, filter integrity testing and wash/autoclave areas to support NPI and capacity expansion including but not limited to single use technology vendor selection, component introduction and qualification. You gain experience in investigations, batch releases and trend report writing.
During the Project Engineering Rotation, you will learn how to provide project engineering support to a variety of site engineering projects and deliver quality projects safely, on time and within budget.
During the Validation rotation you will be involved in the validation of new equipment, systems and processes at Sanofi and will learn all aspects of the validation life cycle. You will learn how to generate validation documentation, preparation and execution of qualification study protocols, preparation and execution of qualification study reports, Complete Validation Lifecycle documentation and ensure projects and associated qualification / validation activities are completed in compliance with all required Sanofi and Regulatory requirements (Health & Safety, cGMP, Construction, Environmental etc.)
Graduated in the past two years or due to graduate in 2026.
A minimum 2.1 Primary Degree or Masters in Engineering.
Good working knowledge of database query tools such as SQL or PLSQL.
Relevant work experience which can be cumulative, i.e., internship/work placement.

The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Once you have officially applied, a member of our Talent Acquisition Team will review your application.
If you meet the above criteria, we will ask you to attend a video interview. This will be sent online, and you will be asked to record your answers using either a mobile, tablet or computer.
If you pass this stage a member of our recruitment team will conduct a telephone interview with you.
The final stage of the process will be for you to attend an assessment centre in November. You will be given the opportunity to meet some of your potential colleagues and managers whilst also learning a little more about what Sanofi is all about.
The day will involve group activities and interview. We are only holding 1 assessment centre, therefore you will need to ensure you are able to commit to attending this date before you apply to this role. Assessment centre date – November 2025.
