Your work directly enables studies to launch smoothly, participants to move confidently through their journeys, and research teams to focus on outcomes rather than tooling.
What you’ll be doing:
- Study Configuration & Setup: Analyse customer requirements and configure Sano’s products to match their needs. Perform gap analysis to recommend configurations or new product development.
- Logistics Configuration & Setup: When required (e.g. launching in a new country or a new type of testing), help onboard and support the integration with new logistics providers.
- Quality Assurance: Test and verify that all configurations meet design specifications and function properly, ensuring the highest level of quality.
- Customer Collaboration: Participate in implementation calls with clients and internal teams, translating requirements into technical setups and providing solutions for any configuration challenges.
- Documentation & Training: Develop clear, user‑friendly documentation and training materials to support external users in configuring and testing their studies.
- Technical Adjustments: Manage and modify technical details like JSON blurbs and HTML blocks to ensure smooth and accurate study setup.
- Process Improvement: Provide feedback on tools and workflows to enhance the efficiency of study setup and delivery processes.
- Participant Support & Navigation: Support study participants when needed by responding to queries and configuring study communication, ensuring a smooth and compassionate participant experience.
- Kit Operations: Manage genetic kits throughout their lifecycle, manually updating orders which aren’t fully integrated, and investigating any issues.
This job is for you if you:
- Have requirement analysis and possess a strong quality assurance mindset (experience with automation is a plus).
- Are knowledgeable in SaaS configuration and have an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Thrive in customer‑facing roles, demonstrating professionalism and a solution‑oriented approach to meeting customer needs.
- Have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams.
- Are familiar with process documentation and are adept at creating and managing data flows and change management processes.
- Enjoy unpicking problems and getting at the root cause of issues.
- Are compassionate and motivated by the fact that real participants sit on the other side of every study configuration you build.
- Feel comfortable talking directly with participants and helping them navigate their study journey.
Even better if you have:
- Experience in life sciences or working with clinical research software.
- Light technical fluency (e.g. reading configs, JSON, APIs, or similar) and comfort collaborating closely with engineers.
- Prior experience working with scaling SaaS products and finding creative solutions to fill gaps in early‑stage products.
- Skills in presentation and training delivery, with a keen ability to support external and internal users.
