Senior Financial Analyst

JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst
Nature of Work and Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income‑statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account company goals and financial standing.
- Create detailed financial reports on status and risks.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
- Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
- Gather information, identify trends and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis.
- Track financial status by analyzing actual results versus forecasts.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Keep job knowledge up‑to‑date on market developments.
- Consult with management to guide long‑term and strategic decision making.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close process.
- Lead and administer Operations Finance projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Core Requirements and Qualifications
- 5–7 years’ proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment; electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Expertise and superior proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with financial software applications; Oracle knowledge/experience highly desirable.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills, drawing conclusions and communicating results.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Proven knowledge of financial accounting, including the monthly financial close process.
- Ability to interpret, organize, and analyze financial data from multiple sources including engineering, shop floor, accounting, and other areas.
- Skill to develop ad‑hoc reports and presentations.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Leadership skills for multi‑departmental projects.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills for meeting strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
