The Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) group at Sanius Health is responsible for patient experience and insight research to support product development. Our work has helped identify and clarify unmet clinical needs, assess burden of illness, evaluate patient outcomes, and adherence, while supporting promotional and labeling claims on a global scale. This is a fully remote, home-based position.
As a Senior HEOR and Research Director at Sanius Health, you will be a recognized expert in Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) strategy. You will have high external visibility and a strong track record of publications and presentations. You will work to maintain an established line of research, a strong presence in the research community, with expertise in outcomes research, and provide senior level mentorship and oversight of junior scientific staff. The role contributes to the financial performance of the HEOR team within Sanius Health, which includes input on business and strategic development.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Research Project Delivery
- Develops and maintains individual research portfolio, generating leads from clients
- Develops proposals, drafting complex steps for scientific integrity to ensure methodological and strategic aspects
- Responsible for ultimate quality of client deliverables
- Responsible for maintaining efficient use of project team resources and delivering within established project budget
- Science
- Serve as internal consultation resource and provides senior level oversight to staff for project work and relevant methods and regulatory issues
- Maintain high external visibility as a recognized leader in the field through a track record of publications and presentations
- Maintain an established line of research and expertise in health outcomes research
- Oversees quantitative and/or qualitative analyses and leads those analyses, interprets results, and oversees other project staff in completion of related deliverables
- Drives scientific excellence and innovation throughout the Sanius Health HEOR team
- Strategy/Consulting
- Actively participates in the development of Sanius Health HEOR team scientific direction and goals
- Provides high level consultation with regulatory bodies and science boards
- Develops innovative science strategies to client issues
- Supports business development through participation in client outreach
- Participate in maintaining the scientific quality through providing training and through establishing benchmarks of scientific excellence
Education, Professional Skills, & Experience
- PhD and 10+ years’ experience or MA and 15+ years’ experience or equivalent thereof in health outcomes and patient-centered research related field which includes significant recent consulting experience with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated track record of delivering on scientific outputs, in particular, peer review publication
- Strong networking skills, will deliver on business development
- MS Word, PPT, Excel; familiarity with SAS or similar data analysis software
- Ability to lead project teams through innovative, complex, and collaborative projects
