Claims Analyst Suffolk County, Hybrid/Remote (1-2 days/week in office) Salary to 40K plus bonus and benefits Our client is an insurance services firm, who are now expanding their London office and now searching for an experienced claim’s professional to drive the growth of the business. Duties Include: Manage national claims related to marine related claims, liaising with brokers Manage claims process from start to finish for specialized claims Troubleshoot all settlements, fraud, subrogation, liens and resolutions related to claims for the region Assist with implementation of new policies and procedures for claims Work under little supervision and delegated authority for settlement claims Oversee payment process and validation of claims in adherence to company policies and procedures Manage target budgets and minimizing risk of financial loss to the company Monitor claims investigations, reviewing insurance policies, analysis of statistical data related to claims. Candidate Should Possess: At least 3 years+ of marine, cargo or freight forwarding experience Strong written and verbal skills with above average computer skills Comfortable to work in a smaller team-oriented environment Strong adherence to new policies and procedures directed by senior management This position needs to be based in the Suffolk area, since it will require the person to commute to the office one day per week.
