Conveniently located just off the M5 and close to Exeter International Airport, Sandy Park offers unrivalled flexibility for events of all sizes, from major exhibitions and gala dinners to meetings and private functions. Our on‑site hotel makes it the ideal venue for multi‑day functions.

Position Overview

The position has been newly created within the broader sales team to capture the growing multi‑day event market. It focuses on acquiring high‑value, multi‑day conferences and is key to achieving our corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Write and implement a 2‑5 year sales strategy.
  • Open and develop relationships with agents and large corporations.
  • Prepare bid proposals and respond to tenders.
  • Identify and attend relevant events where Sandy Park should be represented.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data.
  • Close deals and secure commitments.

Candidate Profile

Prepare a minimum of three years of demonstrable success in similar venues, including experience courting agency relationships and prospecting new business within the conference market. A positive, enthusiastic, and energetic approach, along with the ability to build impactful partnerships, is essential.
