Overview
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant on a one year temporary contract from September 2026 to July 2027.
Hours and Salary
The hours will be 32.5 hours per week, term time only, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The salary is paid at Kent Scheme A, £26,168.00 (£13.56 per hour) pro rata for part time.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to learning for infant age children, including leading learning with groups and individuals, and respond to the needs of children, with support and direction from the teacher.
- Demonstrate ability to work with a range of abilities and SEND pupils, as evidenced in your personal statement on your application form.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification.
- Ability to reflect our nurturing, positive and inclusive ethos.
- English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above, or adult Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.
