Swingate Primary School is looking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery. We are a large, three-form entry, inclusive, successful school with extensive grounds and friendly staff. Swingate is a vibrant, progressive and fun place to work; apply today!
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
- Have experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development
- Develop strong relationships with children, staff and other stakeholders
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey
- Be able to use specialist skills/training/experience to support children’s needs
- Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Have a belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background
