Ready to inspire the next generation of scientists? Orchards Academy is looking for a proactive Science Technician to join our team on a full-time, term-time basis (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday). At TKAT, we champion our 'Be Who You Are' ethos—we don't expect you to have experience in every single element on day one, and we will provide the support you need to succeed your way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality technical support across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Prepare apparatus, equipment, and chemical solutions for practical lessons.
  • Maintain a safe environment adhering to CLEAPSS and COSHH guidelines.
  • Manage stock control and accurate equipment inventories.

Qualifications

  • Good general education (including GCSE English, Maths, and a Science subject).
  • Practical laboratory experience.
  • A professional, 'can-do' attitude.

The working basis of this role is 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term Time + inset days. Please let us know on your application if you would require any other working pattern, i.e part-time hours, etc.
