About the Role

As our SENDCO, you will lead and manage SEND provision across the school, ensuring every child receives a high‑quality education and thrives both socially and academically. You will:

  • Work closely with staff, parents and external professionals
  • Support and develop colleagues who are eager to learn and committed to inclusive practice
  • Collaborate with the experienced MAST SENDCOs to share best practice

  • Has a practical understanding of how to remove barriers to learning and can translate strategy into effective classroom practice

  • Is solutions-focused, resilient and positive when faced with the challenges SEND can present
  • Is passionate about giving SEND pupils the best life chances
  • Holds the National SENCO Award or is willing to undertake it with our support
