Overview
Due to a successful expansion in our schools, we are looking to employ a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time β term time only. Monday to Friday 8:30am β 3:45pm plus inset hours, currently 2 hours on a Tuesday. The post will cover two sites, Ripplevale Upper School in Ripple and Ripplevale Lower School in Broadstairs.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an innovative and passionate SaLT specialist, who is looking for an exciting post in a well-established SEN Independent school. You will be responsible for assisting in the SaLT provision for students from primary aged children through to Post 16 with Autism and or SLCN needs. You will be a self-starter working as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering SaLT and communication interventions. You will monitor and report on the SaLT provision for individuals and groups of students, identifying any SaLT needs, devising provision plans and delivering the best outcomes for all our students.
Requirements / Experience
We would ideally like someone with experience working in a school setting or with a paediatric population, but will consider recently qualified therapists.
