St Clement’s has an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, efficient and personable Office Manager who will join us from September 2026. This is a unique opportunity to join a fantastic team in our wonderful primary school. The role of the Office Manager is a busy one; there is always plenty to do, so we need an individual who can be flexible with day‑to‑day duties, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Our ideal candidate will be positive, friendly and personable, have excellent communication skills and will manage the smooth day‑to‑day running of the administration process across the academy.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the smooth day‑to‑day running of the administration process across the academy.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and exercise diplomatic and sensitive communication with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Deal with a variety of people, including safeguarding and first‑aid duties.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety compliance and site management practices.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience of working in a school or office environment.
  • Knowledge of FMS and MIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of site management (including health and safety compliance).
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good relationships with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to use own initiative.
  • A confident and professional manner.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems.

The basis of this role is permanent employment, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), Term Time + 5 INSET days.
