The Island Learning Trust is looking for a Cleaner to work at Halfway Houses Primary School with an immediate start. This position is for 12.5 hours per week, for 40 weeks of the year. The actual salary is £7400 pa gross. The working hours for this position are 5am to 7.30am Monday to Friday. This position is temporary until 31/08/2026.
We are looking for a capable, pro-active and hard working Cleaner, preferably with experience but training will be given. Your duties will include:
- Undertake cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards and as directed
- Operate / use domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and materials, following appropriate training
- Store allocated equipment and materials safely and securely
- Perform duties in line with health and safety regulations (COSHH) and take action where hazards are identified / report serious hazards to line manager immediately
