Working Hours

25 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 8.15am – 1.15pm), 44.6 weeks per year (inclusive of holiday).

We are looking for a part‑time

School Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support; procuring goods and services, maintaining school marketing and social media platforms, and assisting with the community development mission.

The post holder will work closely with several pivotal roles within the school to ensure smooth running of administrative and promotional operations.

The role may also cover other administrative departments such as Reception, Attendance and Admissions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support across the school.
  • Procure goods and services on behalf of the school.
  • Maintain school marketing and social media platforms, fostering engagement with families, staff and local stakeholders.
  • Assist with community development initiatives.
  • Cover other administrative departments as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4 or above).
  • IT literate with intermediate working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience working in a busy office/reception environment and with budget administration, purchasing and ordering systems.
  • Experience in schools, particularly SEN / SEMH schools, and knowledge of MIS software is advantageous.
