INTERNAL ISOLATION SUPERVISOR
2 days per week, 38 weeks term time plus one week, Monday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 14.5 hours per week
Salary: Aletheia Academies Trust Grade E £10,007 – £10,614 per annum (actual salary) FTE: £29,167 – £30,934 per year
Role Overview
Knole Academy, Sevenoaks, is seeking a dedicated and calm Internal Isolation Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day running of our Internal Isolation Room. The successful candidate will maintain a positive and purposeful environment, support pupils in reflecting on their behaviour, and ensure meaningful learning continues during isolation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and purposeful environment within the Isolation Room.
- Support pupils in reflecting on their behaviour and encouraging improvement.
- Ensure meaningful learning continues during isolation.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and other school personnel.
- Provide guidance to pupils and maintain accurate behaviour records.
- Support the wider pastoral and safeguarding commitments of the school.
