We are offering an opportunity to be part of our fantastic school, which aims to provide an outstanding education for every child at TFS. This could be the ideal role for you if you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of children through supporting them to achieve, both academically and personally. This role is to support pupils with SEND so that they can access all parts of life at TFS and achieve their full potential. This will include working with them in lessons either 1:1 or in small groups, running interventions for them, supporting with related paperwork and co-ordinating with relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for Learning Mentors who are:
- committed team players with energy and drive;
- able to support children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities;
- able to deliver support, both in lesson and small groups in reading, writing and mathematics;
- dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring.
We welcome applications either from those with experience in supporting learning in the classroom or who have experience in supporting children with a range of other special educational needs, or from graduates, who are looking to gain in-school experience before Teacher Training.
We are committed to our staff’s continuous professional development in all areas, and will ensure that you receive high quality and effective training in order to support you in your role. However, experience with Read Write Inc. Fresh Start and First Aid would be an advantage.
