West Hill Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEN Associate Teacher to join their talented and supportive team in their Specialist Resource Base Provision on a fixed term basis. If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and want to work in a school striving to provide the very best opportunities for our children, we could be the school for you.

The role is for 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary is currently paid at £26,168 (September 2026 pay), pro-rata to an actual annual salary of £19,610.16.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • able to contribute to, and work as part of a team
  • ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
  • passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
  • hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
  • committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
  • excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude
