Part-time 1-1 Fixed Term TA role. Candidate to work across KS1 and support a variety of children and cover lunch duty. Full of energy, flexible, happy and wanting to make a difference to our amazing pupils then this is the job for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile and highly motivated person to join our valued and supportive team in our successful and popular federation of schools.

We wish to appoint a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, to work within our school. The position will consist of interventions and in-class 1-1 support with several children as well as lunchtime cover. The position is 5 days a week, 8:30am to 1:15pm.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a creative, enthusiastic practitioner who has the energy and determination to make a difference.
  • Have a good standard of general education.
  • Preferably have an NVQ CACHE Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants.
  • Have a good understanding of current educational thinking and initiatives.
  • Be a caring, understanding person, who loves working with children and who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning.
  • Have a good understanding of, and a desire to effectively support, children with additional needs.
  • Have an interest in developing their understanding of supporting pupils with SEN and communication difficulties.
  • Have experience of working with children.
  • Have the ability to work in a close team to achieve the best for our children and school community.
  • Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
