We are looking for a Reception Class Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team at Painters Ash Primary School. This is a term-time only position for 30 hours per week, 5 days a week. The FTE salary is £24,513 per annum, with an actual salary approximately £16,500 per annum.
Purpose of the Job:
To assist teachers in providing a learning environment that enables all children to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability.
To support children with their learning, social, and personal development.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- have high expectations for all children
- give children\’s social development and well-being the highest priority and recognize and value both academic and personal qualities of children
- have experience of working with children
- be proactive and full of energy
- be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
- have good numeracy and literacy skills
- be able to work with teachers and independently support children
