Ramsgate, Holy Trinity C.E. Primary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Sports Coach to join our small, inclusive Church of England primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to continue our legacy of sporting excellence and to inspire every child to achieve their best.
The successful candidate will work one day per week, under the direction of our experienced PE lead teaching sport to every class. You will be working alongside teachers to enthuse, inspire, and develop children’s interest and skills in sport - this role is not PPA cover. Inclusion is at the heart of our approach, and you will ensure that all children, including those with SEND, have the opportunity to participate and succeed.
You will also attend school tournaments and events, which may be after school or occasional weekends (approximately 30–40 additional hours per year, paid as overtime). The post is fixed term for one year initially, with the possibility of extension.
Applicants may apply for the one day per week Sports Coach role, or for a full-time position (which includes four days as a Teaching Assistant and one day as Sports Coach). Full-time applicants must demonstrate suitability for both roles, including experience of working with and supporting SEND. Please specify on your application which role you would like to be considered for.
