The predicted salary is between 22314 - 23297 Β£ per year.
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and highly committed Site Manager who will ensure that our children learn in a safe, clean and healthy environment. You will be an important member of our school team and need to have a positive approach to this key role.
The successful applicant will possess a range of skills including caretaking, DIY, cleaning and gardening. You will be in charge of ensuring the school environment is maintained to a high standard and will aim to deliver a high quality of service. You will manage a team of two cleaners. Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations is essential and will form part of your responsibilities.
Personal qualities will include: versatility, tact, commitment and initiative. Previous experience of school caretaking would be an advantage. It is an essential part of your role to liaise with contractors, conduct risk assessments and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Your hours of work would be 7.25am β 11:10am and 2:15pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday (finishing 5.30pm Fridays). From time to time you may be asked to vary your hours according to events in school. This may involve a late finish time. Your contract will be for 52 weeks per year.
Salary range Β£26,393 to Β£27,713 (increasing in April) depending on experience. You will be entitled to 28 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. The paid holiday days will be taken out of term time.
The position is subject to a satisfactory disbarring and disclosure check (DBS) and two references.
