NCPS is recruiting for a Reception Classroom Teacher and we are looking for the best. We educate and care for over 650 wonderful children from a range of backgrounds. We want the best for every single one of them, particularly our most vulnerable children, for whom an amazing teacher can make a difference in their life chances.
As a large community primary school, we pride ourselves on our relationships between staff, pupils, and parents, fostering a warm and friendly environment for all. We have an incredible welfare team who ensure that all welfare, behavioural needs, and SEND are well supported.
Our curriculum is exciting, ambitious, and engaging, tailored to the needs of our children, stemming from our curriculum drivers: health, diversity, citizenship, and aspirations. All staff who work at Newington collaborate to ensure consistency for children, enabling every child to excel.
We strive for the very best for our children, and therefore we look to get the very best from our teachers. This means regular CPD opportunities, a curriculum that continues to evolve and improve, and an understanding that all of our teachers work collaboratively to produce the highest quality lessons for our children.
We balance high expectations and excellence in teaching with a package of support to ensure that our teachers enjoy a good work-life balance. This post is temporary until August 2026, in the first instance, and we are looking for the right person who is able to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Unfortunately, we are unable to support an ECT for this role, so our ideal candidate will already have experience working within this key stage.
We may interview applicants at an earlier date than stated, therefore we encourage candidates to apply early. We strongly encourage candidates to come and visit our school before applying. For any interested candidates, please ring our school office or email HR@Newington-ramsgate.kent.sch.uk. We look forward to welcoming you to our school!
