We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team. Working in a busy environment, you will play a key role in helping to prepare meals for our students and staff, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of food
- Ensuring kitchen is clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
- Operating kitchen equipment (e.g. dishwasher, ovens) safely and responsibly
- Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Supporting the catering team in delivering a high-quality meal service to students
- Washing up and general cleaning duties
What we are looking for

- Good communication skills and a friendly manner

- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
