Term‑time only • 8am–3pm Monday to Friday • Egerton (near Ashford)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and nurturing Deputy Manager to join our friendly, community‑focused preschool team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner who is ready to take the next step into leadership, or for an existing Room Leader/Deputy seeking a new challenge in a warm, supportive setting.

About the Role

As our Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Lead the daily running of the preschool room
  • Support and guide staff to deliver high‑quality interactions and teaching
  • Act on behalf of the manager when required
  • Help plan and deliver an engaging EYFS‑aligned curriculum
  • Build strong relationships with children and families as a Key Person
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing, learning and development
  • Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Ensure practice meets statutory requirements and Ofsted expectations
  • Contribute to a positive, reflective and professional team culture
