This position is based at Goldwyn School, Godinton Lane, Great Chart Ashford, Kent TN23 3BT. The successful applicant will be required to work in schools across the Ashford district (temporary to 31.08.2027).

About the Role

This is a pivotal role where you will play a key role in:

  • Reducing persistent absence and improving student attendance
  • Supporting the re-engagement into education for vulnerable students
  • Designing and delivering targeted interventions in collaboration with families and professionals
  • Support students on mainstream sites as well as at our Nurture hub
  • Model excellent practice
  • Share resources with mainstream schools and families

This post is for 30 - 35 hours per week (negotiable), 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 staff development days) and is offered on Kent Scheme E (KR7) (Β£27,852 - Β£29,716 per annum). Actual salary will be dependent upon number of hours worked. The successful postholder will be required to start at 8.30am and work their hours over 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
