St George’s CE Primary School is seeking a committed and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming and successful team. We are looking for a hardworking, flexible and inclusive individual who is dedicated to helping pupils thrive, particularly those with special educational needs.
About the Role
- 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks)
- Working under the direction of the SENDCo, you will provide targeted support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Deliver personalised interventions and adapt support strategies to meet individual learning, social and emotional needs
- Liaise closely with the SENDCo, class teachers and wider staff team to promote pupil progress, independence and inclusion
- Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a key adult, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets
