Your role will be to support our wonderful teachers deliver a creative curriculum, meeting the needs of our equally fantastic learners. This is a great opportunity for dedicated individuals to help develop creative learning opportunities for children with SEMH.
Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in one of our schools where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible. Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent communication skills, the right motivation, and strong levels of resilience are just as important.
Parkview Academy Situated in Margate, Parkview Academy was established in 2017 for students aged 11 to 16, who have experienced learning difficulties associated with SEMH.
Maple Tree Primary School Maple Tree is a unique, family orientated school for pupils aged 7 to 11, who have SEMH difficulties, as well as other complex learning needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure that all policies implemented by the schools are actively upheld and promoted
- To build and maintain positive, constructive working relationships with learners, families, professionals, and colleagues, to maximise development and maintain the overall ethos and vision of our schools
- To work alongside the class teacher to deliver learning to support the academic achievement of all learners
- To support the needs of individuals by assisting the teacher with preparation of equipment, photocopying of material for use in learning and by providing general clerical support for class-based tasks
- Committed to working with the staff team to ensure the highest levels of safeguarding are always upheld.
