About the Role

- Lead a consistent, trauma-informed approach to behaviour across the provision
- Empower staff with the tools and confidence to support complex needs
- Ensure every pupil feels understood, valued, and supported

- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve engagement and attendance
- Break down barriers by working closely with families and external agencies
- Champion re‑engagement with education for our most vulnerable learners
- Safeguarding
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL
- Ensure safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do

Who We Are Looking For
- An inspirational senior Leader with high expectations and a relentless belief in every young person
- Experienced in working with vulnerable pupils, ideally in PRU, alternative provision or similar settings
- Skilled in behaviour leadership and trauma‑informed practice
- Knowledgeable and confident in safeguarding and multi‑agency working
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to lead with compassion and clarity under pressure
