About the Role
As a Youth Coach at Heath Farm College, you'll support students' behaviour, wellbeing and engagement, delivering targeted interventions that help young people develop positive behaviours, regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. Working with colleagues, families and external professionals, you'll help create a safe, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
What You Will Do
- Support students' behaviour, wellbeing and emotional regulation.
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
- Implement behaviour plans and support bespoke learning programmes.
- Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
- Complete records, risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Contribute to whole-school behaviour and wellbeing initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
- Experience in youth work, coaching, mentoring, education, care or a similar role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Patience, resilience and a positive, proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
