The predicted salary is between 18720 - 22880 Β£ per year.

Teaching Assistant 1:1

29 hours per week - Term time only.

Start and finish times: 8.45am-3.15pm (plus half an hour lunch duty)

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Hollingbourne team.

We need an energetic, enthusiastic and creative teaching assistant to join us in Key Stage 2 supporting an individual child within a class.

We are looking for someone who can help make our children's journey through school both a memorable and enjoyable experience.

We would also like you to support our children for some of lunchtime.

We will need you to be

  • Someone who has experience of working with children, ideally those with additional needs.
  • Someone who relishes watching children flourish and progress
  • Someone who feels confident to take on the challenge of teaching smaller groups and be supported to supervise the class when necessary
  • Knowledgeable about the role of a teaching assistant
  • Someone who has a knowledge of phonics
  • Someone who has an understanding of child development
  • Able to work proactively, using own initiative
  • Resilient and flexible with change
  • Reliable and committed to the wider life of the school
  • A team player
  • A clear communicator with adults and children alike
