This post is for Tiger Clubs Day Nursery. Tiger Cubs Day Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their own initiative, working 27.5 hours per week, across a rota, 40.6 weeks per year. The working hours would be Monday-Friday 12:00pm-5:30pm.
Main duties:
- Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
- Working in partnership with parents and fellow colleagues.
- Maintaining child development and observation records.
- Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
- Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in everyday practice.
The successful candidates must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification. Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a childcare setting which can be referenced and be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children. You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
