We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Caretaker to join our Premises Team. Are you a practical person with the skills to undertake various maintenance jobs around the school including painting and decorating, moving furniture, minor repairs and general DIY? The successful candidate will assist the Site Manager in the day to day operation of maintaining the site, ensuring a safe environment at all times.

An understanding of Health and Safety and premises compliance is required; training will be provided. The role is a permanent position for 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1.30pm - 6.15pm each day, 42 weeks per year. This covers both term time and some of the school holidays.

We do require someone who is prepared to work flexible hours to cover in the event of the Site Manager's holiday and absence. This may include in the mornings on occasion. There will also be a requirement to be on the alarm call out list and to respond to out of hours call outs.
