We are looking for a qualified teacher from September 2026 for a small mixed age class of KS2 children (Year 3/Year 4). We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and talented teacher to join our friendly, hard-working and supportive team. Platts Heath is an active learning school with three mixed age classes and is part of the Aspire federation.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to maintain and develop the high standards of teaching and learning that exist within the school, whilst our current teacher is on maternity leave. In turn we are able to offer you the opportunity of working with children who are highly motivated, happy in their environment and display excellent behaviour patterns.

The school does have a significant proportion of SEND and we would welcome practitioners who support our inclusive and nurturing vision. We have a proven track record of supporting and developing teachers new to the career and so ECTs are welcome to apply.

If you are interested in applying or would like to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Mr D Waters (Head of School) by email dwaters@aspire-kent.org.uk.
