St Nicholas School is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food, being part of a team, and supporting pupils in a school environment.
You’ll assist the School Cook with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen, and support the smooth running of the dining area. No formal qualifications are required—full training will be provided, making this role ideal for recent school leavers or those looking for part-time, term-time work.
Working hours: 17.5 hours per week, 10.00am–1.30pm, term time only (38 weeks + 1 INSET week).
Salary: £10,105 actual (£24,513 FTE).
