We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant to support in class but also to cover lessons which have been prepared by a teacher. Each time you cover a class, you will be paid an additional £8 per hour, over and above your usual hourly rate. I estimate you will be asked to work around 3-4 hours as a cover supervisor per week. These cover lessons will primarily be during afternoons. Each morning, you would be supporting learning in class and/or leading small group work. Working hours would be 8.30am until 3.15pm with an hour for lunch.
We are looking for someone with the confidence to cover classes in order to release the class teacher to teach intervention groups. You will be working as part of a very skilled year group team.
