We are looking for a confident person to teach basic Spanish during PPA. The successful applicant will teach basic Spanish to Years 3-6 during teachers' PPA time. Your working hours would be 12.30pm - 3.30pm four days per week and then 12.30pm - 4.30pm one day per week (the extra hour being to run an after school club). You would teach three forty minute Spanish lessons between 1.05 and 3.20pm Monday - Thursday. Friday would include 1.5 hours planning, preparation and assessment time and 45 minutes to run an intervention. From 12.30pm until 1.05pm, you would do a 35 minute lunch duty.

You will be responsible for taking the register for the first class of the afternoon and dismissing the last class at the end of the school day.

  • Be committed to working within a team to deliver the best possible outcomes for our children
  • Have excellent classroom management skills

We can offer you:

  • A supportive and sociable team of staff
  • Fabulous pupils
  • Excellent professional development
