Bower Grove are seeking to appoint an ITT teacher to start in September 2026 who would be training to be a primary teacher. The training is being run in conjunction with Canterbury University. It is school-based.
We would warmly welcome applications from applicants who are passionate about preparing young people so that they can play a full and active role in society. You must be resourceful, flexible, positive and motivated with a good sense of humour. You will share our belief that all pupils can achieve and be successful.
As part of the ITT programme you will learn the ability to organise, inspire and motivate young people with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The post offers an outstanding opportunity for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to progress their career into a teaching role.

Bower Grove is a modern, well-equipped school providing a highly personalised and structured curriculum. We have 12 pupils in a class with learning support assistants to support. We offer a unique teaching and learning environment, committed staff and excellent career development opportunities.
