We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Inclusion Support/Practitioner to start in December. If you are dedicated and passionate about teaching and learning, then this could be the position for you. We are offering a real opportunity to make a positive impact in our school. This position is for 32.5 hrs per week (8.30am-3.30pm, including 0.5 hrs each lunchtime as a Play Assistant). This is a fixed term contract to 31.08.2026 for 38 weeks per academic year (term time only).

We are looking for an individual who is determined to secure the absolute best for each pupil and will work hard to ensure every child achieves everything they are capable of. We are looking for someone who will:

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting groups of children in achieving the lesson skill in English and maths and across all areas of the curriculum.
  • Leading groups of children or 1:1 intervention programmes.
  • Feeding back to the class teacher, sometimes keeping records of progress and behaviour.
  • Working with the Year Group to support any social, emotional, behavioural or medical needs.

Additionally, you will be required to supervise your class during playtime. We are an OPAL play school and you will be assigned a play station for supervision during lunchtime. This will involve supporting children with play activities and in social situations.
