Within the role you will use a variety of different techniques to motivate, engage and encourage the pupils to achieve their greatest possible outcomes. The role includes a lunch duty where you will be required to initiate and participate in games/activities with the pupils. We have an established, strong curriculum that is well-resourced, supplemented by a fantastic learning environment with fantastic outdoor spaces. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can:

  • Exhibit the Holborough Lakes Core Values in their professional behaviours.
  • Be an excellent role model for teaching and learning.
  • Support pupils within the learning environment to promote independence, inclusion, acceptance and equality of access to learning.
  • Lead the delivery of specific learning objectives and activities, adjusting them to meet the requirements of individual or groups of pupils following support from the class teacher.
  • Build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, to maximise children’s development and maintain the overall ethos and vision of the school.

We can offer you:

  • A strong, supportive ethos across the school based on our Core Values.
  • Regular personal CPD and training, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Motivated, well behaved children.
  • Committed staff and leadership team.
  • A supportive Local Schools Board.

We benefit from being part of the Valley Invicta Academies Trust by having close links with the secondary schools enabling collaborative projects and school visits.
