To ensure the effective teaching of all pupils, helping them to develop both inside and outside the classroom. Support the policies and aims of the School and ensure the good social, emotional and physical development of every child.

In addition to the generic description below, the full-time Head of IT Business Studies will be expected to:

  • Deliver lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5 level, to include both Business Studies and IT
  • Take an active role in planning and delivering appropriate fieldwork for the courses

About You

  • A good honours degree
  • Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the IT and Business Studies curriculum and related pedagogy
  • An awareness of the impact that their subject can make to the whole school
  • Ability to teach to KS3, KS4 & KS5 level
