A professional and adaptable person is required to work as part of our dynamic behaviour team, supporting students with Social, Mental and Emotional Health (SMEH) and other difficulties. The role ensures that students with difficulties are supported and strategies and interventions are implemented, so that these students do not prevent the effective teaching and learning of other students.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise and communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Flexible approach to duties and ability to act on own initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated professional integrity and strict adherence to protocols.
  • Good attendance and punctuality record.
  • Background in working in an Alternative Curriculum Provision, Behaviour Referral Unit, PRU or the prison education system is a benefit but not essential.
