We are looking for an experienced and proactive People Officer to join our People Team and provide high-quality HR advice, employee relations advisory support and compliance expertise across the Trust.
Please note that this role requires demonstrable experience of providing HR advice and managing employee relations activity. Applications should clearly evidence experience against the criteria in the job description.
Responsibilities
- Manage a range of employee relations cases, in collaboration with managers and colleagues, ensuring consistent and fair application of HR policies and processes.
- Support effective absence and performance management and provide trusted advice to managers at all levels.
- Maintain accurate workforce records and contribute to safeguarding and compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement across the People service and contribute to policy development and implementation.
- Build strong working relationships with managers to understand operational needs and provide proactive HR support.
Qualifications and skills
- Demonstrable experience of providing HR advice and managing employee relations activity.
- Sound knowledge of HR practice with the ability to give trusted guidance to managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
- Experience contributing to safeguarding and compliance requirements and maintaining accurate HR records.
