37 hours per week Term time only plus 5 CPD days, Mon-Thur 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3.30pm

Are you organised, detail-driven and quietly brilliant at keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join the friendly, supportive team at The Orchard School. This is a key role at the heart of the school, supporting our finance function and helping ensure resources are in the right place to support our pupils and staff. No two days are quite the same, and your work will genuinely make a difference.
Responsibilities
About the role: You’ll support the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including processing orders and invoices, monitoring expenditure, supporting budget management, and working closely with colleagues across the school. Accuracy, organisation and good communication are essential.
Qualifications
About you: You’ll be well-organised, reliable and confident working with financial systems and spreadsheets. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team, be comfortable dealing with a range of staff, and take pride in getting the details right. Experience in a school or public sector setting is helpful but not essential.
