Do you have accounts experience and are looking for a new challenge? We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to work in our school office: term time + development days only 21 hours per week.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 9:00 – 14:00 (5 hours)
  • Tuesday: 9:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)
  • Wednesday: 9:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)
  • Thursday: 9:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)
  • Friday: 9:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)

We do have a small degree of flexibility over the hours which can be discussed at interview.

Duties include:

  • the day to day running of the school fund
  • collection of money and banking
  • raising purchase orders
  • payment of invoices
  • organising travel for school trips
  • Liaising with parents over payments through ParentPay

Suitable applicants will have a proven good level of numeracy and effective organisational skills. Previous accounting experience and/or working in school would be desired.

Please note that this is term time only; and the successful applicant will be paid on Kent Scheme B pro rata. Appointment will be from as soon as possible.
