We are seeking a committed, compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a delightful child in Year 2 who has severe and complex needs. This is for a Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 - 3:15pm. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to a child’s learning, wellbeing and development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the child both academically and emotionally, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised support to meet the child’s complex needs
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals
- Implement personalised learning and care plans
- Support communication, engagement and social interaction
- Assist with personal care where required
- Promote a nurturing, safe and inclusive learning environment
