Barton Junior School is seeking an experienced, motivated, and proactive Study Support Manager to join our passionate and dedicated staff team. At Barton Junior School, we pride ourselves on offering a happy, purposeful, and rewarding working environment where staff and pupils share warm, respectful relationships. Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality academic and pastoral support for Year 6 pupils, ensuring they are emotionally and academically prepared for the move to secondary school.
  • Deliver targeted academic support, manage small groups, and respond effectively to the needs of pupils preparing for SATs and transition to secondary school.

Hours: This role is 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with pupils, particularly from upper Key Stage 2.
  • Confidence in delivering targeted academic support and managing small groups.
