Come and join the Elms team! There are opportunities to appoint Teaching Assistants in both the primary and secondary phases at the school. The posts offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced TA to join our dedicated and highly effective staff team.

We have a new framework which enables teaching assistants to progress from KSA to KSC based on teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent and experience. We will support you in your development on this learning journey if you require additional training to access the Senior Teaching Assistant range.

The successful candidate will work supporting pupils with a range of behaviour and learning needs and will have a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience, a flexible approach to their work and an ability to embrace change. Elms is a challenging yet very rewarding place to work and we provide support and training for all our staff.

The school places a high priority on professional and career development. All staff receive a full induction and support programme throughout the year to achieve their performance management targets.

Candidates need to possess a minimum of GCSE grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
